I'm connecting to the internet using my laptop in Windows 7 and the connection is wireless. Please help. Haven't had any connection problems for several months and just recently I'm experiencing slow downloads, cannot buffer well on Youtube for even 2min videos and slow uploads. I'm thinking if this can resolve the problem altering MTU Also my Samsung laptop is relatively new and I haven't changed so much of its default settings yet so I don't think it's a problem of the unit but please let me know if there are other options.

No need to change the MTU. When looking in the ipv6 i find 6 other NICs but they are not given a index number. How do i change the MTU for these? Dear All, Could you help me for the below issue. This will show the MTU set by vista on each network device. As you can see from the image below that even though MTU of is set for best performance on my router, that vista still has the default windows setting of on both the wireless and ethernet network cards - this is despite the auto tuning feature that is supposed to automatically adjust the MTU figure.
If you are going to be changing your MTU settings make a note of the exact names of the network devices.
