Fret puller tool

We will send a shipping email with the tracking number to you once your order shipped. These couldn't get under the frets and ended up just squeezing them instead. Sure it was possible to remove them after squeezing and deforming the frets for 10ish minutes, but I ended up having to actually pull hard on the few frets I removed to get the fret out - which you shouldn't have to do and will likely cause chipping on your fretboard.

Ended up buying a competing product from another company which worked wonderfully. I'll likely throw these out because I can't think of anything they'd be useful for. Found them to be the best compromise of affordable price and desirable design. This was my first attempt at refretting. I had done a couple fret levels and gained enough confidence to try and improve the playability of a squier SE strat neck. To be totally honest I found pulling the frets to be almost underwhelmingly easy.

Anyway, they worked well, I had very minimal chipping, and found the removal and initial installation of the new frets to be very easy. It was the latter steps where I realized the difficulty lies in dressing the frets without damaging the other aspects of the guitar. I would recommend these for sure. Service from Philly luthier supply was great as usual. Just bought these for my first attempt at redoing a fretboard.

These pliers worked like a charm at removing the wire cleanly and smoothly. Worth the purchase! No chips on an 40 year old ebony board, need I write more. I have nothing to compare these to because this is my first fret puller but worked perfectly for my first refret attempt. A must have for the shop. Thank you! Great ideas, very good performance.
